Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at LATECOERE.
PRIMARY FUNCTION The Quality Assurance Technician as a supporting resource for the Quality Engineer and the Quality Manager in all non-engineering functions.
Primary function
- The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for developing and maintaining documentation standards, producing and managing clear technical documentation across the business systems landscape, and supporting requirement gathering through structured and consistent recordkeeping.
This includes ensuring all business systems-related documentation—from new feature documentation to standards, process flows, and technical SOPs—is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. By producing high-quality documentation, the analyst plays a critical role in ensuring team alignment, regulatory readiness, and scalable knowledge sharing across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, Library Science or business analysis, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
General Responsibilities:
- Define, standardize, and disciplined maintenance of documentation templates, naming conventions, and repositories for all business systems documentation.
- Write and maintain detailed user guides, technical specifications, integration diagrams, change logs, and functional documents.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and developers to document new features, workflows, APIs, and system logic clearly and consistently.
- Maintain a central knowledge base or wiki that aligns with governance and internal audit standards.
- Ensure all documentation meets accessibility and usability standards for both technical and business users.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure completeness, version control, and adherence to standards.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Degree (preferably in Library Science, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or Engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in information technology or Library Science
•Maintain assigned customer databases and ensure database is up to date with respect to quality.
- Process requests for calibration, purchase of inspection equipment, delivery documents as well as update assigned procedures.
- Be an assigned back-up to other Quality Technician.
Quality Specific Responsibilities
- Communicate/Liaise with various company resources to ensure completion of a variety of Quality documentation (TDR’s, RNC’s, Snags, QASDR’s)
- Perform weekly/monthly updates in system(s) for assigned customer specifications and Document Control.
- Perform assigned audits on a regular basis (stamp-control, quarantine cage)
- Assist with special provisioning of specifications (Ie. Mylar control)
•Scanning paper-based documents and records : TDCC processing (RCQC inspection instructions, Work Orders, etc.).
•Support for CATIA, TED Calibration database, Technical Data Sheets, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills; verbal, written, technical presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
