We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our dynamic information systems group in our Toronto office.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
The Quality Assurance Analyst is a member of the IT team who will validate and support the activities of the product development team. Working closely with the team, the QA analyst will understand the requirements and validate that they are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Apply analytical skills to help validate product changes through careful testing and systems configuration
• Develop, establish, and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
• Write and execute test plans and scripts to track defects and fixes in software application development to ensure successful product deployment
• Replicate production issues in a test environment and properly document for further action
• Perform regression testing
• Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in a related area of study with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Proven knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Familiarity with SQL coding is an asset
• Familiarity with Automated Testing is an asset
• In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Industry with an emphasis on Surety and Specialty Insurance solutions is an asset
• Full professional fluency in both French and English is an asset
