Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000/year
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Assurance with a strong background in audit and assurance services. The ideal candidate will be a Canadian CPA with proven leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to delivering exceptional assurance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members.
- Review financial statements and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with high levels of responsiveness.
- Collaborate with partners and managers to deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations to add value for clients.
Qualifications
- Canadian CPA designation (mandatory).
- 5+ years of progressive assurance/audit experience in a CPA firm.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple engagements and teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and assurance practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience with both public and private company assurance engagements.
- Background with national, mid-sized, or Big 4 CPA firms.
