Prairie Roots Co-op is hiring a Pump Attendant at our location in Starbuck, Manitoba on a full-time permanent basis.
What you’ll do:
· Deliver top-tier customer service.
· Run fuel pumps, clean windshields, and check fluid levels.
· Operate cash registers and take payment from customers.
· Assist with stocking inventory, merchandising, and displaying the C-store and Liquor departments.
· Follow all legal requirements regarding the sale of liquor, lottery and tobacco products.
· Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including cleaning of all equipment and display cases.
· Be able to work in extreme temperatures when helping customers at the pumps and propane station.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
· Are 18 years of age or older and have the Smart Choices certification, or are willing to obtain it.
· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Pay attention to detail and have the ability to always maintain outstanding customer service.
· Have the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
· You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
· You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
· Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as lifting and carrying inventory and equipment up to a weight of 55lbs.
