Pump Truck Operator Position Overview
The Pump Truck Operator role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Pump Truck Operator is a strong safety driver, profit focused and people oriented by providing a clean, safe, well-maintained resort.
A Great Blue Resorts Pump Truck Operator is responsible to work in a team under the supervision of the Property Manager to help with all septic waste removal and upkeep operations of the Resorts facilities and maintain the resort to a clean, safe and well-maintained standard.
A strong Pump Truck Operator will be reliable, hardworking with good customer service and someone who enjoys working outside.
The goal is to ensure the resort is well maintained and all cottages are pumped daily or as required.
Skills
Responsibilities/Accountability
- Facilities management
i. Daily removal of waste from cottages
ii. Weekly records of usage
iii. Basic knowledge of system operations
iv. Visual inspections of tanks
v. Proper personal protective equipment
- Equipment management
b. Safety Equipment
c. Property maintenance equipment – pump truck
- Work Orders
