Summary
We are seeking a qualified Psychologist/Psychological Associate / Social Worker / Psychotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, helping individuals and families navigate their mental health challenges. Your expertise will be integral in fostering positive outcomes and supporting our commitment to mental wellness.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy or psychological service to children, adolescents, adults, couples or families.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate client progress (CBT, DBT, EFT, Psychodynamic, EMDR etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation, in a timely manner, of client sessions and treatment outcomes, write letters, fill in forms etc.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- High level of professional standards and ethics required.
- Fluency in a second language is an asset (i.e., Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi etc.)
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work or psychotherapy minimum requirement, Doctoral degree preferred
- FULL Registration (NOT QUALIFYING) with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPBAO) OR Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW) OR Registered with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- 10 + years minimum experience working with clients.
- Proven experience in providing therapy services. Strong knowledge of diagnostic techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities (i.e., CBT, DBT, EFT, Mindfulness, psychodynamic, EMDR etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and teams.
- Willing to collaborate with staff and open to supervision
- MUST be a Canadian Citizen or PR and live close to Mississauga, Ontario
