Founded in 1994, PowerTek is a global energy consulting firm with operations in 23+ countries, offices in 4 countries, and a portfolio of 300+ completed projects. Our work spans the clean power, transmission, smart grid, energy optimization, and retrofit sectors. We deliver high-impact solutions for clients including utilities, developers, governments, and private equity stakeholders — all with a focus on decarbonization, digitalization, and energy performance.
We are actively building a team of technical advisors for upcoming energy efficiency retrofit and building decarbonization projects. These roles will support portfolio-scale energy strategies, technical due diligence, and performance validation for PowerTek’s client base across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery for building retrofit advisory engagements.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, vendors).
- Manage technical workstreams across energy modeling, M&V, EPC evaluation, and reporting.
- Ensure project alignment with client requirements, timelines, and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and milestone summaries.
- Support continuous quality assurance across all technical submissions.
- Coordinate with finance and legal teams during proposal and implementation stages.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing energy efficiency or infrastructure consulting projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, environmental science, or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent experience in structured project management.
- Familiarity with retrofit financing, energy audits, and building systems is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
- Experience in remote team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $30.00-$90.00 per hour
Additional pay:
