Our team takes pride in successfully completing projects in remote and logistically challenging environments, supporting community development with quality and care.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and reliable Project Administrator to support our project teams with day-to-day project administrative functions and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Administrator will support Project Managers and the teams by handling administrative duties and ensuring smooth project operations:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining project files, records, and documentation
- Coordinate communications and scheduling between project team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Prepare, submit, and track project-related forms, reports, and documents
- Support Project Managers in maintaining up-to-date project logs, change orders, and related files
- Assist with the preparation and formatting of reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- Track and follow up on project deliverables, timelines, and task completion
- Book travel, accommodations, and manage rotation schedules for out-of-town staff
- Help monitor and maintain inventory of project supplies and materials
- Support internal team communications and workflow tracking
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and personnel information
- Provide general administrative support to the construction team as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in construction or project-based work
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Indigenous or northern communities is an asset
- Knowledge of remote work logistics and construction terminology is an asset
