Position Overview
We are hiring Line Associates to join our Night Shift team (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at our Keele plant.
As a Line Associate, you will play a key role in supporting production operations through equipment setup, product inspection, accurate packing, and housekeeping. This is an entry-level position with a clear training path to Machine Operator.
Availability Requirements
- Must be available to work any night of the week (Sunday–Saturday).
- Ideally open to working both day and night shifts (flexibility is an asset).
- This opening is currently for the Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Compensation
- Base Rate: $17.20/hour
- Night Shift Premium: +$0.50/hour
- Total Night Shift Rate: $17.70/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support production lines under the direction of Supervisors, Lead Hands, and Machine Operators.
- Perform packing, labeling, and inspection of products to meet quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the production area.
- Report production issues, defects, or downtime promptly.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and cleaning as required.
- Accurately follow work order specifications and company procedures.
- Use the Cyframe ERP system for data entry, weight checks, and label printing.
- Lift and package products safely (25–50 lbs).
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset (but not required—training provided).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform repetitive bending/lifting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
