Our cuisine has a heavy Lebanese influence that is rich in both history and culture. Dips, flatbread, grilled meats, and seafood are just some of the staples that are transformed through lush herbs, vibrant spices and delectable dried fruits and nuts. Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef or head cook
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a prep cook or relevant role in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
