Position Overview
The Prep Cook is responsible for executing essential mise en place with consistency, speed, and care. Working with premium ingredients, you will uphold exacting standards of quality and organization, ensuring the kitchen is prepared for flawless service. This role demands discipline, focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a world-class culinary brigade.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily prep lists with efficiency, precision, and attention to detail.
- Ensure all ingredients are washed, cut, portioned, and stored according to established standards.
- Maintain an impeccably clean and organized workstation in line with fine dining expectations.
- Follow recipes and specifications with accuracy to support consistency across the kitchen.
- Work independently while contributing seamlessly to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in fine dining or high-volume premium restaurants.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Proven ability to work independently with discipline and accountability.
- A clean, methodical approach to cooking and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards.
