Job Type: Full-time Permanent & Part Time
Salary: $18.00-$19.50 per hour, PLUS Tips
Availability: Full Time; early morning (6:30-7am) and weekend availability required

Dear Grain Toronto is an Everything Sourdough Bakery that specializes in artisanal products - sourdough bread, pastries & sandwiches. Dear Grain location in Roncesvalles and looking for a person with a great attitude, and strong work ethic to join our wonderful team. Willing to train the right candidate as well.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and pizza according to menu specifications
- Proof and bake sourdough croissants using recipe instructions.
- Bake cookies, scones, brownies etc. Glazing and garnishing baked goods, using recipe instructions.
- Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients for menu items
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Prepare Daily Specials
- Practice food safety and sanitation standards
- Reports to Kitchen Leader
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or sandwich making is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous employment in a high volume production kitchen/food business
- Minimum 1 year experience in Culinary education in a recognized College/University
- Possess basic cooking and knife handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
