Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time under pressure , and effectively while performing cleaning tasks.

Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Empty garbage bins and dispose of waste properly
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Conduct commercial and Residential cleaning of offices, bedrooms, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management.
- Manage heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during the cleaning process.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from building occupants.
- Maintain an organized supply area and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Safety-conscious and dependable
- WHMIS and/or CSTS certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
Experience
- Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with residential & commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
