Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Assist in the installation of different plumbing applications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes
Experience:
- Previous experience in similar field is a plus
- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is beneficial
- Willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced professionals
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
