The Toronto Flyers are a proud member of the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League (GMHL), dedicated to providing elite development opportunities for talented athletes pursuing their hockey careers. Based out of Paramount Ice Arena in Thornhill, Ontario, the Flyers are built on a culture of hard work, passion, and community spirit both on and off the ice.

Description:
The Toronto Flyers Hockey Club is looking for a dynamic Play-by-Play Announcer to bring our 2025–26 Junior ‘A’ hockey season to life! With 20 home games on the schedule, we need someone who can deliver fast-paced, exciting, and entertaining commentary that keeps our fans engaged from puck drop to the final horn.
We’re looking for more than just a voice — we want someone who can capture the energy of the game, tell compelling stories, and help create an unforgettable game-day experience at Paramount Ice Arena in Thornhill.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Delivering live play-by-play commentary for all 20 Toronto Flyers home games.
- Providing pre-game introductions and post-game wrap-ups.
- Conducting short player/coach interviews when required.
- Assisting with in-game fan engagement (contests, promotions, sponsor mentions)
- Supporting the Flyers’ media team with occasional social media clips, game-day content, and highlights.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in play-by-play, sports broadcasting, or public speaking (hockey experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of hockey rules, strategy, and player terminology.
- Clear, energetic, and engaging voice with the ability to keep fans entertained.
- Confident, professional presence in a live-game environment.
- Ability to commit to all scheduled home games (approx. 20).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Ontario

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00-$100.00 per day
Expected hours: 3 – 7 per week
