Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipelines used for water, storm, sanitary and hyrdo telecomunication systems. This position requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Install and repair pipeline by laying pipes in trenches
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment to dig trenches and prepare sites for pipeline installation.
- Ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipes during installation.
- Testing of pipelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Experience
- Proven experience in pipelaying. Minimum 2 years experience as a pipelayer
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools, hand tools.
- Operation of heavy equipment an asset.
- Familiarity with installation of all underground civil pipe works.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to pipeline installation.
- Use of laser systems

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
