We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our underground crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Install water and sewer mains, services, and related infrastructure
- Lay and align pipe accurately using lasers, levels, and grade stakes
- Assist with trench preparation, bedding, and backfilling
- Ensure proper pipe connections, jointing, and sealing
- Work closely with operators, laborers, and site supervisors to maintain safe, productive operations
- Maintain awareness of underground hazards and follow safe digging practices
- Perform manual labor duties such as shoveling, raking, and compacting as required
- Adhere to all COR and Manitoba Health & Safety Regulations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in underground utility installation, specifically water and sewer
- Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and pipe installation best practices
- Ability to work in confined or uneven workspaces and varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-first attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using lasers, levels, and GPS tools for alignment and grade
- First Aid, WHMIS, Confined Space, or other site safety certifications

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 55 – 65 per week
