Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems
- Install and repair storm, water, sanitary structures or pipe systems
- Ensure the ground is prepared, levelled and compacted to proper grade
- Align pipes to prepare them for connections
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
- Perform other duties as required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- 2 + years’ experience in underground pipe laying
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Ability to multi-task and should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and has the ability to work in a team environment under minimal supervision
- Valid class G driver’s license
