Roc-Pro Contracting Ltd. is seeking for a dedicated, permanent, full time Civil PipeLayer and Operator with a extensive experience to run heavy duty equipment, pipe installation and leadership. All our work is based in lower island, we do underground utility construction. These roles requires strong leadership skills, operate heavy-duty equipment, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Duties
- Operate rock trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, skidsteer, 1000lbs Plate Tamper, Packer, and Boom Lifts, etc.
- Rigging pipe for hoisting and installing all types of pipe (i.e. watermain, sanitation, storm, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout all phases of construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to effectively communicate project requirements to the team.
- Preparing and grading trenches, and installing Manholes and Catch Basins.
- Performing tasks involving physical labor such as loading and unloading building materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
