Day Group Timmins is looking for a Pipe Fusing Supervisor in A REMOTE CAMP SETTING who is client-focused, and has proven knowledge of Pipe Fusing technology, documentation, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures. The Pipe Fusing Supervisor will require a solid understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, QA/QC requirements, and excellent ability to supervise and direct groups in an efficient manner.
To be successful in our dynamic environment you must have 5 years of field-experience and 3-4 years in a supervisory role. Your strong knowledge of Pipe Fusing operations, including Occupational Health and Safety compliance, proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities, and ability to meet deadlines on-time and on-budget will be an asset. If you are someone who also has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can facilitate communication between subs, suppliers, and other project participants, then Day Group wants to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy- i.e., Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook.
- 3 - 4 years field experience in the mining and Pipe Fusing industries.
- Pipe Fusing and Surface Mining management, project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be an asset.

- Ability to lead and work with others in the completion of a schedule, budget guidelines, and customer requirements.
- Verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well independently and within a team setting.
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the project management team.
- Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Correspond with subcontractors and internal staff daily.
- Assist Construction Project Management team with many aspects of their day-to-day duties and help ensure that all aspects of any construction project run smoothly and efficiently.
- Actively participate in Project and Leadership Development meetings.
- Supervise daily activities to ensure project targets are being met, quantified, and recorded.
