Responsibilities
- Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations
- Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties
- Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers
- Know how to load, secure, transport a wide variety of cargo
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays, be on-call
- Adaptable to changing environment
- Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device considered an asset
- A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Agriculture background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- 1A Driver’s License, experience driving trucks (to operate heavy, oversized and semi equipment) would be considered an asset
- Ability to travel for long periods of time; some overnight trips may be required
