What would my role be?

Reporting to Clinical Manager, you will function as a member of the Nursing Team and provide and administer nursing care to patients according to the policies, procedures and standards of Bruyère Health.

How do I qualify?

Required:

  • Personal Support Worker course approved by the Ontario Ministry of Universities and Colleges (minimum 650-hour course required from an accredited school)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate

Preferred:

  • Experience in hospital setting
  • Experience in rehabilitation, geriatrics, Alternate Level of Care (ALC) and/or working with patients with dementia
  • Gentle Persuasion Approach (GPA) training
  • Valid certificate of registration from the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) or from the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association (OPSWA)
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Basic computer Skills
