Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Decorate cakes and desserts to meet customer specifications and enhance presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and fulfilling special orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline food preparation and service processes.
- Manage inventory and packaging of baked goods for sale.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle food safely
- Expertise in baking with a focus on pastry techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in cake decorating and packaging
- Previous work in a restaurant environment is preferred
