We are seeking a talented and passionate part-time Pastry Cook to join our culinary team.
The candidate will make our classic desserts we are known for as well as their own creations.
The candidate will work alone.
The candidate will come into the restaurant and bake 1-2 times per week, or as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation.
This role is essential in delivering high-quality desserts and pastries that enhance our menu offerings and delight our customers.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including chocolate cake, carrot cake, coconut cream pie, cheesecake, crème brulee and other creations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of desserts during service hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Excellent food preparation skills with attention to detail in both taste and aesthetics.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry.
