We are looking for an energetic Part Time- Driver and warehouse associate. This is a Part time role 15 to 30 hours a week.
About the Job :
The Delivery Associate will be responsible for delivering customer purchases daily while ensuring prompt and high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have previous home delivery experience, be able to handle heavy merchandise with care and have a valid driver’s license. The company offers a competitive income and steady hours.
We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, that can provide a safe, comfortable and efficient delivery experience for our customers. You can handle heavy merchandise with care either on your own with a dolly or with a partner. You understand that you are part of the team at Surplus and will serve as an ambassador to our customers and can provide insight into further Surplus products.
- Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise
- Organize daily work/delivery schedule/route
- Maintain accurate paperwork
- Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs or malfunctions
- Must be bondable and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- Must have at minimum 1 years driving experience
- Work in warehouse when needed/deliveries slow
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- You must be able to lift 50lbs safely on a regular basis
- Customer Service experience as this is a customer facing role
- The ability to respond to on-call shifts
