Job Description:
As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our laundromat runs smoothly and our customers feel welcomed. You’ll be responsible for managing laundry loads, washing and folding laundry for our drop off and delivery services, and assisting customers, and keeping the space clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry with attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Cleaning public showers and washroom
- Lift and carry laundry bags/baskets weighing over 40 lbs
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Maintain focus and stay on task during shifts
- Handle customer transactions and make change accurately
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the day
- Follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Stay off your phone unless on break or in case of emergencies
- Take constructive feedback positively (Feedback is a gift).
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift and carry loads over 40 lbs regularly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Able to stay focused and avoid distractions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Weekends.
