We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong administrative skills, and proficiency in handling phone systems and electronic medical records.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits using phone systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems, including Epic and Dentrix.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Provide information to patients regarding treatment options, insurance coverage, and office policies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office environment.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments as necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in using phone systems to manage incoming calls effectively.
- Experience with electronic medical records management, specifically Abeldent
- Strong front desk administrative skills with a focus on customer service in a dental or medical office setting.
- Excellent organizational abilities to maintain an efficient office workflow.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff alike.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
