Position Summary: The Smart VMC Racquet Sports by ACE Tennis Club seeks a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our courts, facilities, and equipment are kept in optimal condition for all members and guests. We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and a range of practical skills who takes pride in keeping a facility safe, functional, and clean.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain tennis courts and surrounding facilities
- Identify issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct routine safety checks
- Perform minor electrical and carpentry work
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks
- General cleaning of the facility and equipment upkeep
- Ensure tools and supplies are stored safely and efficiently
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic handyman/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow a structured routine
- Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry practices is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and carry tools and materials
- Someone who can work mainly Monday-Friday from 5-9pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
