Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. As a Banquet Server, you will work closely with the catering team to deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including dining tables, serving stations, and kitchen spaces.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service throughout the event.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Clear tables and reset for the next course or event as necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
