Genius Camp is currently hiring STEM (Robotics, Coding) instructors. Genius Camp is a collective endeavor of experienced engineers with the vision to bring a wholesome and holistic educational experience for kids and teenagers across the country.
At Genius Camp, we engage children in real-life tasks and encourage them to put theory into practice in a fun way, using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
We're looking for an enthusiastic candidate whom has a passion teaching kids, STEM learning. You will be instructing students on how to build specific structures.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Location: in-person 1293 Meredith Ave, Mississauga, ON L5E 2E6
Education Curriculum: Grade SK-Gr.1
Time: 3:30-4:30pm (1 hour) every week Tuesday
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in education or any engineering discipline (B.Ed/B.Engineering)
- Minimum one year of experience with coding, robotics or related fields
- Passionate about STEM topics and Robotics
- Reliable and interactive
- Prior Programming Experience is a great asset
- Prior robotics teaching experience is a great asset
- Comfortable with helping student build specific structures
- Comfortable managing groups of up to 10 students
- Comfortable communicating with parents as and when required
- Training will be provided
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
