About the Role
EastCann is currently seeking a full-time Packaging Technician (NOC 95109, TEER 5) to accurately and efficiently complete the packaging of cannabis. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for packaging product in a timely manner
- Ensure waste removal meets all state regulatory compliance
- Ensure packing meets all company compliance
- Facility sanitation and microbial prevention
What You Bring
- Must be 19+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Site Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, or walking for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in an environment that may involve:
- Exposure to allergens (e.g., pollen), chemicals, and cleaning agents
- Prolonged periods under bright artificial lighting
- Contact with dust, fumes, odours, and fluctuating temperatures
- Occasional work at elevated heights or in wet conditions
