Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join us. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to private home care environments. This role requires a deep understanding of patient needs, excellent communication skills.
We have a child with a tracheostomy and feeding tube.
This is in a private home.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes in their condition.
- Assist in the management of pain and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients, particularly requiring pediatric care.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital setting or long-term care facility
- Experience in pediatrics care will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in home care practices is beneficial for candidates applying for home health positions.
- Strong background in pain management techniques is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
