RAPS is Seeking an Overnight Awake HCA to Assist a Pediatric Client with a Tracheostomy and Developmental Delay (A49)
Location: SW Edmonton (Rutherford Area)
Hours / Days: Sunday and Monday Overnight Awake from 9 pm to 8 am
Rate Of Pay: $20-21.00/Hour
JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include but are not limited to client handling and transfer, changing diapers as needed, suctioning, g-tube preparation and feeding, ROM exercises, bathing, dressing, checking vital signs, tracheostomy care, ventilator operation/care, medical inventory checks, disinfecting of all equipment and surroundings, operation/care of oxygen machine, operation/care of cold nebulizer machine.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a recent criminal record check and experience working with pediatric clients is a strong asset. Training will be provided and having a driver’s license and vehicle is considered an asset as busing is limited in the area.
