We are seeking a talented individual to join our Associate Account Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto, ON. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this dual function role of both Client Executive and Client Representative, you will be responsible for the support of senior level Client Executives and supporting management of a client book. You would be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, supporting and acquiring new clients, and the delivery of the firm’s resources for the overall benefit of the client and the firm.
We will count on you to:
- Handle sales and/or relationship management activities with clients and prospects to originate new client relationships and/or expand and retain existing relationships.
- Partner with various account management teams to provide superior client service
- Initiate new revenue for the firm through the acquisition of new clients or the expansion of revenues from existing clients
- Achieve yearly sales targets
- Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Marsh.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of work experience within commercial insurance.
- RIBO license.
- Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite.
- Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
