Travel: Required within the Greater Vancouver, Lower Mainland, and Fraser Valley regions
Compensation: $60,000-$95,000 (based on sales commissions, bonuses, and On-Target Earnings-OTE)
Reports to: Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits tailored to customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with order fulfillment teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions for clients.
- Conduct proactive customer follow-ups and providing exceptional after-sales care to assigned customers within your territory.
- Contribute to an exceptional customer experience in alignment with the order fulfillment process.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers, clearly communicating price, manufacturing timelines, and delivery schedules.
- Accurately enter won orders/purchase orders into the system for production, ensuring all details are captured accurately.
- Actively contribute to the growth of IMS Metal Wear Solutions by closing sales opportunities in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales and/or technical project sales, particularly in an outside sales capacity.
- A strong understanding of the steel industry, specifically with abrasion-resistant wear plate, castings and forged part fabrication, and ground-engaging tools (G.E.T) for heavy equipment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and customer needs.
- A true-self starter, eager to take initiative and get the job done
- Valid driver’s license.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Calendar and Teams)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
Additional Assets
- Strong understanding and/or experience in metallurgy
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and operational challenges within the mining, industrial construction, forestry, and/or recycling industry.
