Thunder Bay Orthopaedic, a busy healthcare clinic providing high-quality orthotic care since 1973, is seeking an Orthotic Technician to join our team. We are a team of Certified Orthotists, Certified Pedorthist, a senior Orthotic Technician, and experienced administrative staff who maintain a strong appetite for evidence-based practice, modern technology, and progressive fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and modify custom/prefabricated orthotic devices for pediatric and adult clientele to improve mobility, function, and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinicians for device design and development
- Shipping and receiving
- Quality control and project management
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and excellent time-management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent hand skills
- Interest and/or experience in fabrication techniques using a range of componentry and materials such as metal work, leather work, CAD/CAM, and 3D printing
- Open to exploring further training opportunities

Job Type: Full-time - 9am to 5pm
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour. Registered Technician applicant salary negotiable.
Expected hours: 35 per week
