As an Optometry office assistant your duties would include assisting patients arriving for Eye Examinations, preparing the patient to see Optometrist and assisting patients with their eyeglasses
Job duties include the following:
- Greeting and registering Patients arriving for eye examinations
- Conducting visual field testing
- Preliminary testing
- Administrative duties including scheduling patient appointments and answering patient phone calls
-Assisting patients in selecting Eyewear
