Summary
We are seeking an Optometric Assistant/Sales Associate to join our team at MAAZ OPTICAL LTD. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our optometrists and enhancing the patient experience through exceptional service and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists during eye examinations and procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain electronic medical records.
- Perform administrative tasks at the front desk, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Educate patients on eyewear options and assist with selecting frames and lenses.
- Support retail sales by promoting optical products and services.
Requirements
- Experience in a medical office or optical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is an asset.
