Glaucoma and Comprehensive Consultants is an ophthalmology practice committed to excellent patient care in the Edmonton and surrounding area. We are a busy practice, with 3 ophthalmologists and amazing staff, and are seeking a candidate dedicated to serving our patients with the highest standard of medical treatment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience/education in the ophthalmic field preferred but will train on the job for the right person
- Computer aptitude (Healthquest EMR, Forum preferred)
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently, exhibit good judgment with meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new technology
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Screening patients: taking patient history, visual acuity and tonometry
- Perform testing: Visual fields, OCT, IOL Master, Atlas, Retinal photos
- Seating patients: cleaning rooms prior to seating
- Daily sterilization of various instruments
- Maintain a friendly and professional appearance and conduct
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
