Summer Camp Musical Theatre Instructor

About Us:
Queen’s Academy of The Arts is a community-driven performing arts program that brings inclusive, accessible musical theatre to kids ages 4–11. Our mission is to make the arts accessible and build connection through creativity, play, and performance. We value diversity, empowerment, and joyful learning.
Position:
We're hiring Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our week-long summer musical theatre camps located at Halpern Centre, SFU Burnaby. Camps run full or half days, with flexible scheduling available to contract for specific weeks.
Work Dates:
- July 28-Aug 1, 9am-5pm
- Aug 11-15, 9am-5pm
- Aug 18-22, 9am-5pm
You’ll:
- Teach singing, dancing, acting games, and lead a final performance
- Foster a fun, safe, and supportive environment
- Collaborate with a small, welcoming team
- All curriculum, materials, and supplies provided
Requirements:
- Experience working with children
- Musical theatre, drama, or performing arts background
- Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
- First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field is an asset
Pay: $24-30/hour (depending on experience); flexible hours, contract-based.
