About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relocations from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication between clients, overseas agents, operations, and service partners.
Major Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and maintain accurate removal plans on Moveware and physical files.
- Provide quotations to private clients, agents, and corporate accounts, or set appointments for Sales Representatives.
- Assist in answering sales inquiries by phone or email, and set up surveys for the sales team if required.
- Act as a backup for pricing all types of moves and D of R’s as required.
- Prepare all work orders, including those for moves and truck repairs for Toronto and Burlington branches.
- Advise customers on packing, shipping, transit, customs, and related regulations.
- Prepare and submit shipping and customs documentation, including Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, Waybills, Manifests, and Canada Customs documents (knowledge of ACI).
- Forward and receive pre-alerts and documentation packages with overseas agents and customers.
- Maintain pallet movement information in Moveware and Excel for accurate tracking.
- Maintain strong communication with shipping companies, airlines, and bonded warehouses to ensure timely updates on consignments.
- Handle 3rd party bookings when delivery is out of the service area.
- Handle all deliveries out of storage and storage-related files, including correct setup in move ware, collections, and all paperwork as required.
- Assist with the collection of payments for services.
- Verify payable invoices on moves and forward to accounting for payment.
- Respond to agent rate inquiries and submit pricing for imports.
- Coordinate and prepare reports as requested by management.
- Handle creating the Matt system login for agents.
- Follow the move management process throughout the lifecycle of each move.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
