We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the transportation of goods and personal belongings for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. You will be responsible for ensuring that items are handled safely and efficiently during the moving process.
Duties
- Load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving furniture and large boxes, while following proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed, ensuring that all belongings are organised and secure.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their moving needs and provide updates throughout the process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during moves.
Skills
- Previous delivery driver experience is highly advantageous.
- Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre bulky items safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
