Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods, ensuring that items are handled with care and delivered to their destinations safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck towing a trailer to transport items to various locations.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks and ensuring proper handling during transit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding schedules and delivery details.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to facilitate moving operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the moving process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this role.
- A commitment to safety practices and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
