As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems.
- Utilize CCTV technology to observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in the development of security plans and protocols for various situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess a valid security guard license (if applicable) and pass background checks as required.
- Physical fitness to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies.
