Job Title: MOA/Receptionist at PhysioLife Physiotherapy Clinic
Location: South Surrey, BC
Job Type: Part-Time, about 24-30 hours/week
Salary: Based on experience, $25-28/hour, benefits included

About us:
We are an established multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to helping clients improve their health and mobility. We are currently seeking a reliable, personable, and organized receptionist to join our front desk team. Typical shift hours would be mornings from 7am-1pm or afternoons from 1pm-7pm, and this position may include a mix of morning and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a warm, friendly, professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments using clinic software
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously
- Handle payments and issue receipts
- Support therapists with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations - manage patient records, additional communication with patients, managing cancellations and wait lists
- Liaising with and billing third party payers (ICBC, WorkSafeBC, MSP, Medavie Blue Cross)
- Laundry and folding of bed linens/hand towels
- General cleanliness of the clinic - keeping reception area tidy, putting away equipment if needed, restocking therapist supplies in rooms
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a medical or clinic setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computers and scheduling software (experience with JaneApp is an asset)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Friendly, personable, and client-focused attitude
- Attention to detail is of utmost importance
- Ability to converse in additional languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi or Punjabi is an asset, but not required
