Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our Prosthetic and Orthotic healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and co-ordinating a team of healthcare professionals. This role requires strong organizational skills, as well as excellent client care and communications skills. Proficiency in basic bookkeeping would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Answer client questions, schedule appointments, complete funding applications, create invoices and take payment.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure proper documentation practices are followed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care services and streamline clinic workflows.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the clinic, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff.
- Facilitate communication between staff, patients, and third parties to promote a positive clinic environment and client experience.
Skills
- Background in medical office administration or experience working in a customer care environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology and/or bookkeeping terminology.
