Position Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Mechanician to join our team . The successful candidate will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing packaging machinery, with a strong emphasis on industrial electrical systems. Fluency in both French and English is essential for effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair packaging machinery, with a primary focus on electrical components.
- Perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Install and maintain industrial electrical systems, including sensors, drives, PLCs, and control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with CSA regulations and all relevant safety standards.
- Assist in the commissioning and setup of new electrical systems on machinery.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with industrial electrical machinery, especially in packaging environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial electrical components.
- Experience with PLC systems.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
