What you will do:
Reporting to the Meat Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Cut, trim, and otherwise prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, fish and shellfish for sale
- Grind meats using powered grinders and slicing machines
- Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry or fish and may wrap prepared meats, poultry, fish and shellfish
- Prepare/package product for sale
- Stock product to cases and shelves
- Loading and unloading of product.
- Perform clean up duties as required
- Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Previous meat cutter experience is required
- Motivation to learn and grow within the role
- Strong customer service skills
- Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to work efficiently in a team setting as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
- This is a physical job requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Must be available 7 days a week to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings
- Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
- MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, late evenings and weekends
- This position is based at the Retail Centre, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
