What you’ll do (aka Role and Responsibilities):
As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll support both external and internal marketing initiatives that align with Amsted’s vision and sales goals. You’ll report directly to the Director of HR and Marketing, helping to administer the marketing calendar, campaigns, and budget. Your days will be varied, fast-moving, and full of opportunities to showcase your skills across multiple platforms.
Digital & Content Marketing
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Maintain and update website content (blogs, project stories, SEO optimization)
- Create and manage digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, PPC)
- Track marketing metrics and prepare performance reports
Email & Communications
- Develop client newsletters, event invitations, and drip campaigns using MailChimp
- Write and coordinate internal team updates and press releases
Video & Design
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content (project showcases, testimonials, behind-the-scenes)
- Create branded graphics and marketing collateral (Canva, Adobe Suite)
Brand Reputation & Engagement
- Respond to online reviews and client feedback
- Support client satisfaction surveys and photography collection
PR & Awards
- Research and write submissions for local and national awards
- Liaise with media outlets for content and story placement
Creative Strategy
- Identify new trends and marketing opportunities
- Contribute to strategy development and refreshing existing materials
Event & Internal Culture Support
- Support company events (staff, clients, and industry partners)
- Help build company culture through internal campaigns, initiatives, and celebrations
What you bring to the role (aka Skills and Qualifications):
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong foundation in digital and content strategy
- Demonstrated experience in writing, SEO, PPC, video editing, and social media management
- Proficiency with WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and Google tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills—you thrive with a full plate!
- A positive, self-directed attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- A passion for storytelling and an appreciation for well-crafted homes
