This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting the dots between performance metrics and strategy, and understands the customer journey inside and out. While you’ll support content creation, your primary impact will be in content distribution, tracking results, performing research, and ensuring every marketing effort is backed by smart, informed decisions.
A Typical Day Might Include:
- Researching trends, audiences, competitors and updates to help guide strategy
- Creating regular performance reports and research decks to present key takeaways to the marketing team
- Scheduling and distributing content across social media platforms and email marketing tools
- Performing outbound engagement across channels
- Coordinating with designers, content creators, and external vendors
- Supporting CRM and marketing automation tasks
- Helping prepare marketing materials and assets for campaigns
- Staying current on industry trends to inform larger strategies
- Assisting with campaign execution across multiple channels
- Assisting with content creation or appearing on camera as needed
- Coordinating and scheduling client appointments for photoshoots to ensure smooth planning and execution
- Tracking KPIs to ensure campaigns meet goals and adjusting tactics as needed/providing recommendations for improvement
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Experience coordinating and supporting marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, email, web, and digital ads)
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, email marketing tools, basic SEO, and content distribution best practices
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Canva, Tiktok, Meta Business Manager and CRM/marketing automation tools
- Experience utilizing AI to improve efficiency
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, create reports, and provide actionable insights
- Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating marketing activities, including client appointments for photoshoots and content capture
- Detail-oriented approach with a knack for building and maintaining organized systems, processes, and documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners
- Basic skills in graphic design and light video editing
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude and adaptability in a changing environment
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in retail, home renovation, or B2C/B2B product marketing
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
- Familiarity with ActiveCampaign
- Hands-on experience with data visualization or reporting tools
- Understanding of customer segmentation and journey mapping
- Website CMS management
- Experience supporting a brand or department through periods of significant growth
- A degree or diploma in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
